Got the anchor? Well, it's been...um...interesting. Very entertaining.

Guess I was wrong. Didn't get whacked yet but Daddy must have finally got ahold of Chicken and at least got him to throw the anchor .

But the true definition of a cajun is those that were exiled from nova scotia and their lineages...

That’s incomplete. Cajun descend from the people of Acadia, many of whom were removed as part of Le Grand Dérangement. However, prior to that, the British forcibly moved some to the 13 British colonies, some were shipped to Britain or France, some chose to leave on their own. Many of those not part of the “final” exile - the one you reference - rejoined their family in south Louisiana once they were settled there.

Those who left Acadia either by choice or by force and later rejoined family in SLa are absolutely Cajun and they are not a small group. My Cajun family lineage can be traced directly to Acadia and to France. This is very common and even documented in The Book of the LeBlancs, an extensive family history of all descendants of 1 couple who migrated from France to Acadia and whose last name is more common than Smith in SLa

Why are we anchoring threads like this, so stupid.
Its almost like admins don't like threads that last for days and generate a ton of replies and page views (and associated ad revenue). Its always the good threads that get anchored. Never Davidthegnome's recycled reddit joke threads

That is all true. It depends on the push back I would imagine. We’ve had people demoted for certain incidents and others able to “resign” for others. We have a large union, so that plays a factor, we’re protected by civil service also, but social media restrictions vary. I’ll have an update tomorrow.

This post is slipping away like a distant memory. Sad to see it go. Had to add a comment so I could find it again. On that note - roid rage is real, boys and girls.

Roids also shrink your nards. But Ronnie didn’t have much to work with anyway.

So word is he’s on administrative leave. One more formal complaint and he’s done. Should we start a pool? Ice Cold make it happen.

I’m usually not in favor of social media Lynch mobs demanding people get fired but if he really spit in a woman’s face for merely commenting his behavior was out of line then his anger management skills are definitely a concern for the public.

I agree with you, but Believe me the decision wasn’t from a social media mob. His own behavior on social media, in public and in house was already an issue.
He only has himself to blame.
