So we’re comparing a member of the most elite military team in the world to a bunch of townie police members? Come on
It’s not comparing skill level, he’s speaking on priorities.

By the time Robert O’Neill entered Osama bin Laden’s bedroom in the Abbottabad compound on May 2, 2011, the al Qaeda leader was bleeding out on the floor, possibly already dead, after being shot in the chest and leg by the lead assaulter on the raid. That operator, known as Red inside the unit, is still an active-duty member of SEAL Team 6 and has never been publicly identified.

There is a tell all book that came out a few months back addressing the shenanigans in ST6 over the last several years. There is a whole chapter on this incident. In essence, he set himself up to be in the room. He was initially assigned as an element leader for a perimeter team and got his command to reassign him to the assault team. Then, once in the target, he and another guy basically bypassed the second floor to put themselves first to go to Osamas room.

Even in a seal team, where lives literally depend on guys doing their assigned task...

That’s why he’s a Navy SEAL and not a city police officer. I don’t expect city police officers to be Navy SEALS either.

Code Over Country? I am listening to it now.
I listened to Jack Murphy’s podcast with the author and it made me download the book

Definition of what O’Neill did.
The Rob Riggle sketch is based off of him

The ignorance is breathtaking
I’d rather Joe Uvalde PD write a book about saving kids than him cowering in the halls doing nothing
You do you though
