Used to live in Long Beach and would go probably once a year. If the statues arent going to be up in New Orleans, then Beauvoir is where they need to be. Thats the only place that could do them justice. Would expand the museum a great deal too. I love the idea.
I bet mitch sets up a bidding war for them and takes the money though and goes directly against his own words about preserving history....

She is one of the most racist & hate filled people you will ever come across. The only way someone who is white even gets a meeting with her is if they donate money to her otherwise she is too busy to meet them or even talk to them.

Was there last week. That's where I learned Jeff Davis adopted the slave kid. I told my wife along with the tour guide the Jeff Davis Statue and any others should go.
It would be an awesome place for them to be at. There are former CSA soldiers, and there wives buried there. Because it's on the National registry as a military grave yard, they would never be be moved again. They could all be truely at rest without some race baiting, vote pandering family to have anymore say..
I just have a sinking feeling that those statues will never be seen again. Thanks Libtards!!!!
