How is this school? I was surprised how non cultured the band, cheerleaders, and flag teams of a Jefferson Parish public school were at today’s parades

Riverdale has a lot of poorer white kids. The kids who can't afford to go to a private school and aren't smart enough to get into a magnet.
Their attendance zone is basically River Ridge, Harahan, old Metairie, anything South of Vets and east of causeway, and the areas around Rummel. Lot of older, white areas.

Observe how the kids and parents look compared to the private schools. I tried to keep an open mind this weekend, but I still came to the same conclusion
