I honestly dont think she meant any harm. Just a little arrogant of her artistic abilities. Her original will be remembered more than most art in this generation.

God bless her soul and rest in peace.

The story in the link tells that very story. It was sweet, it was a sincere expression of her faith, like the original, art as an expression of devotion and reverence. It beautilful. And the Church and community embraced it, and were blessed.

Hows that not God?

So, all you bitches who laughed at her - Who is laughing now?

I didn't laugh, but, man, that restoration was terrible.

I was trying to figure out what was "horrifying" about it. Looked low talent but respectful.

Now I remember - it was a restoration and there were people who were upset by the quality of the work.

In 2012, Giménez, an amateur artist, decided to restore Ecce Homo, a mural by a local artist, Elías García Martínez, that hung in the Santuario de Misericordia church in Borja. However, her talent as an artist was not equal to her good intentions and she produced what was described as the worst restoration in history.
