I never said he was a saint, if fact, I said that, like every man who ever lived, he wasn't perfect.
If we focused on every person's flaws and used them to decide whether someone deserves to be honored, then there would be very few people whose service and/or contributions to society who would go unnoticed.
The reason I like him is because he was a true war hero and I agreed with his philosophy of governing, which is both parties working together to come up with solutions for problems within our country and that he wasn't afraid to go outside party lines. I am not saying I supported everything he went outside of party lines to support, in fact I couldn't tell you everything he has gone outside of party lines to support, but I respect anyone who puts country first.

I apologize for responding to you earlier. I wasn't a huge fan. As I said earlier, I didn't vote for him in '08. My response was directed towards the poli board posters who obviously haven't seen their god's comments on the matter and haven't fallen in line yet.
