Not sure if serious. If serious, you must have your head up your arse

that whole scene was great.

I remember the day he died because my youngest sister called me to tell me the news and ask how much I weighed. (I'm just under 6'-5" and probably weighed 240#, maybe 250#, at that time.) I was bummed out because I thought John Candy was one of the funniest guys on the planet and, to a lesser extent, because my sister seemed to think I was as fat as John Candy...

Well damn. Now I have two more things to feel bad about.

My name's Dewey Oxburger. My friends call me Ox. You might have noticed that, uh, I've got a slight weight problem.
Yeah, yeah I do. Yeah, I do. I went to this doctor. Well, he told me I swallow a lot of aggression... along with a lot of pizzas!
I'm basically a shy person, I'm a shy guy. Uh, he suggested taking one these uh, aggression training courses. You know these aggression training courses like EST, those type of things. Anyway, it cost 400 bucks! 400 bucks to join this thing? Well I didn't have the money and I thought to myself, "Join the army"! It's free. So I figured while I'm here I'll lose a few pounds. And you got what, a 6 to 8 week training program here? A real tough one. Which is perfect for me.

i think my favorite line from him that movie was when they were going to the ymca to play bingo and the numbers got all fouled up

"So what's it like to frick a fish?"
He was hysterical as Tom Hanks' degenerate brother in Splash. Intentionally dropping coins on the ground, so he could look up girls' skirts, the letters to Penthouse Forum, speaking Swedish he learned from porn movies... That character cracked me up!

There were so many great lines in that movie. When Winger and Ziskey are first joining the Army and being interviewed by the recruiter, so many awesome ones.
I also loved this guy:
quote:
Cruiser: My hobbies are fast cars and fast women because uh... that's why my... the guys in my car club call me the 'cruiser'.
Dewey Oxburger: Should have called him the dork!

Unrelated but--March 4, 1990 - Hank Gathers, American basketball player (b. 1967) and star at Loyola Marymount University collapsed and died during a game. He was the second player in NCAA Division I history to lead the nation in scoring and rebounding in the same season.
