Music is a matter of personal taste and preference. Just because it doesn’t speak to you, doesn’t mean it’s that way for everyone. Some of the most technically talented musicians do nothing for me but some whose skill level is only average speak to millions. If you read, try some of his books. They just put me in a good mood, much like his music did for others.

I wonder what the going rate for a spin with Mrs Roger was back in the day. A line? A bottle of boones farm? A pack of cigarettes?

Jimmy Buffett smoked bails of weed in younger days but was a health nut in his 50s on. (Maybe 40s)

But he was a sun child all the time and you eventually have to pay the piper.

This one hurts like john prine did too ....
Saw jb
3x in nola, 2x i remember the show .... it seems that drinking a cpl of quarts of pina coladas affects your memory.
That was the show at the Audubon zoo... what a night so i am told by mrs ontario ... seems the highlight of my night was snow angels in the monkey grass after the show and asking McDonald's for a cheeseburger in paradise :)
Sail on jimmy, you are missed

I actually got to see one of his incognito shows at Margaritaville, NOLA, during Jazz Fest, 1998. Stood about 20 feet from the stage. It was nominally a show by the PM (Peter Mayer) Band, an act on the Margaritaville label. They opened, played for about an hour, then Jimmy & the Coral Reefers came downstairs and took over. Great night.

On the day that John Wayne died, I found myself on the edge of the continental divide.

Been to the saloon in Leadville where he allegedly wrote that.
What a life. Yall enjoy every moment

He's just trying to sound edgy. I'm sure he's a dickless wonder.

makes me sad.

I planned a quick trip Panama City Beach for a few days later this week. I guess my browser history reflects a bit of that, so I got a targeted ad from Chicken for a PCB "Pirate Cruise" below this thread. That seemed appropriate.

I'm sure the covers at the beach bars will be Buffett heavy, which is ok by me.
