Got two in laws in the hospital with pneumonia right now. Terrible stuff.

I had it in November of 2009 and almost died from it. My fever got up to 105.3 and I was out of it. The first three days were the worse. I was in and out of sleep/consciousness. It took daily rounds of rocephin injections and the strongest dose of augmentin to knock it out. I was deathly ill for about 5 days, but it took a full two weeks to get over it. I don’t wish it on anybody. I knew a guy who died from it a couple of years ago. He was young and healthy too. Pneumonia is nothing to take lightly. Go to the ER if things get bad.

We had to bring our 2 year old to the ER last night after consecutive breathing treatments gave no relief.
Diagnosed with viral pneumonia. Scary when the nebulizer isn’t working anymore and you know it’s time to get X-rays.
