Here's a slight variation that might make a little more sense:
Slice me however, I remain the same and proud.
But reflect me below and that's just not allowed

Heaven/paradise. You can have a slice of heaven, but you cannot have heaven on earth.

While we wait for lefty the a-hole-
Three traveling salesmen arrived at a hotel and decided to split a room. Yes, they're gay.
The clerk said it would be $30 per night.
Each man put in $10, and the clerk sent them off with the key.
Later that night, as the clerk was closing the till, he realized he overcharged them. That room was only supposed to cost $25 a night, because it was a weekday.
The clerk took five dollars out of the till to refund the men, but realized he couldn't split $5 evenly between three people.
So, he decided to pocket $2 and give each of the men a dollar back.
He knocked on the door, explained that he owed them each a dollar back due to a mistake, and gave them each a dollar.
So, each man had originally paid $10, and got a dollar back, so they each ended up paying $9. Times three men, that's $27 they paid together. The clerk pocketed $2, so that's $29, on the original $30 rate.
Where'd the missing dollar go?

Thats only designed to confuse. You have to correct the riddler's mistakes. The pocketed 2 is irrelevant. He could've taken 100 out and pocketed 97. Why would you add it? They gave thirty, he gave 3 back. 27. He OWES them 2. Subtract 2 to get down to the correct 25. The end. It doesn't matter how much is in his pocket.

That's pretty good. The mirror image.
There's a video on yt of a math teacher doing a basic algebra equation and ending up with 1=2. The trick is at some point he sneakily divided by zero and that's why you can't ever do that. It's not zero, it's not infinity, it's not null. You just can't do it period. You will destroy reality.

I'm not wrong.
quote:That is right.
Times three men, that's $27 they paid together.
quote:This is where you are wrong. Go back a step. They are at $27. There are 3 dollars from the original $30 because he just gave them $3. He still owes them $2 which he has. That'll get to them to correct 25. There is no extra dollar, just a math error you made. You took what they are still owed and added it to their pay total and asked what is the problem with their pay total. It's basically a word problem where the creator has made an error.
The clerk pocketed $2, so that's $29,
