Although it might be a riddle within a riddle, in which case the answer would be shooter mcgavin

But definitely think we should stick to the "normal" style

This is kind of a common one. I haven't read the whole thread but I searched.

Queen Anne's Riddle:
There is a queen but no king
There is a moon but no sun
There is a steeple but no church
There are trees but no leaves
There is sadness but no frowns
There is happiness but no smiles

WG wins. Cypher is a question, someone must know the answer. WG followed through.

Yep. That is a better one in person esp if some people know it and some don't. They can join in as they figure out and you can say anything, answer any question and drive people crazy.

"In Queen Anne's Riddle, there is no water, no tea, and no milk. Probably because there are only bulls but not cows. There is no wine, whiskey, vodka, gin, or rum. But there is beer."

I'd heard of the phrase "queen anne's riddle" before and loosely understood it had something to do wtih double letters but it kinda sucks becuase it's not actually asking a question. You can keep going iwth "there is blank but there are no blanks" for hours but the guesser is just like "...ok?" since there is not a readily apparent question to be answered.

To me, that's why it's a great riddle. The answer is so simple yet it makes smart uptight people feel stupid and left out

Slice me however, I remain the same and proud.
But a mirror underfoot, now that's just not allowed.

You know the best part of this exercise is focusing on the clues to your answer and then seeing the immediate sexual answer that you didn't even consider.
