Sad for Naitch but a destroyed liver is hardly unexpected considering the guy's legendary drinking exploits.

From what I have seen( not sure how true) is that he is said to be in surgery for a heart related issue.... but I can understand about how much damage his liver has gone through over the years.....

Reading into this, it is a weakening of the heard exacerbated by alcohol and part of the treatment is a change in lifestyle.
He had an irregular heartbeat some years back that he claimed was irrelevant but could have been a sign of bigger issues like this to come.
