Resort suggestions for Arizona...

Looking for suggestions on a resort near Phoenix or Tucson.
Going to a wedding in Tucson and staying a few days after with the lady friend.
Would love to do Sedona but don't want to waste time with driving.
Spa and other activities are must. May or may not golf so that's not absolutely necessary.

You real Tucson is over 2 hours south of Phoenix?

Yeah I know. Sedona is three hours north of Phoenix.
2+3=5
2 hours is shorter than 5 hours.
We are flying out of Phoenix so we will be coming back to Phoenix anyways....

What month? If it's after April, stay in Tucson or make the drive north.
I love Scottsdale.

The Omni resort in Tucson is really nice. I stayed there back in June for work. As I understand it, they've just done a multi-million dollar renovation on the whole place. Of course, since it's still their busy season, the prices will be fairly high. When I stayed there I got bumped up to one of their suites (~900 sq ft) and only paid $100 a night.

same here....
Only stayed there once and didn't stay at a resort so I can't help. Plan on going back in the next year.
