Offended by what? I was against the removal of the monuments. And I've stated it here many times.

It's rude to talk with your mouth full. Take Mitch's dick out of your mouth so we can understand what you're saying.

He's gonna be on national news this weekend and the month-long melt here will accelerate and the usual idiot suspects will do OT things.

That's original. You understood exactly what I was saying. I am against the removal of the monuments and have a stated that here several times before. And I've also stated I don't like Mitch. Try again with your Mitch melt.

Will New Orleans turn into a ghost town in certain neighborhoods like Detroit?

Is the violence as bad as this board would have you believe?

I would say worse. LOTS of things go unreported.

It's not mere coincidence that you see New Orleans featured on many episodes of The First 48.

NOLA has been on a HUGE upswing since Katrina. The real estate prices are insane. Just my opinion, but I think that is probably a better guidepost than the OT.

He just needs to take himself, his basement-dwelling sister, and his douche bag son and nephew and head to DC permanently.

Then he could work on getting the Jefferson Davis statue removed from the U.S. Capital rotunda

Not sure what that has to do with the question about violence but okay.

Never going to happen.

I don't know about violence but crime is what it is. The numbers don't lie.

I've lived here 15 years and never have been a victim of a violent crime and don't know anyone who has.

Care to try one violent crime on for fit?

It only takes one to wreck an extended family.

The statistics don't lie.

I do have friends and family that have been victims of violent crimes, but the crimes weren't committed in New Orleans

Louisiana had the highest murder rate per capita among all states in the country last year, a streak the state has maintained every year since 1989, according to new data released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Monday (Sept. 26).

Sadly, in the world today many of the middle east history and statues are being destroyed by Isis in the name of progress same as in our country. Make no mistake, Robert E. Lee was a decorated American hero

Place is a shathole and has only become worse.

God only knows how much monies and blood, sweat and tears were invested to help re-build the city...and for this kind of political shenanigans...gutter politics at its finest

being a native of the area I use to wonder why the rest of Louisiana looked poorly on New Orleans....DUHHHHH, I know now
