So it's kind of like how we tell ourselves to move our body parts. For example, responding to this thread, I had to hit reply, type in this message and then I will hit submit. I am physically doing this, but I have to think to do it but it all happens so fast, that we don't really "think" about doing it.

So is this just like having another body part, so to speak?

Does it work for all of your internal voices? Just saying, there are a few people I know that would confuse the Fu!K out of that thing.

It seems like the older I get the less useful this would be anyway.

The device, called AlterEgo, can transcribe words that wearers verbalise internally but do not say out loud, using electrodes attached to the skin.

So you have to mouth what you want it to know, or it literally reads your mind? frick that either way

I could be wrong, but like I posted earlier, I think it is more about movement. It isn't reading all of your thoughts, it reads you the way your body responds when you want to move.. your arms or legs. We don't realize it, but when we want to reach for something, grab something, any type of movement, we are sending a signal to our brain that we want to do something specific with our arms, legs, etc and it happens.
