BC literally told me what a kick he and his lady got from reading it...so if it's not for you, it's not.
I understand your sentiment, but maybe there's things behind the scenes you....
You know what, have a great day.

What's the latest BC? How can we keep helping?

I am in. Just made my contribution. God Bless. Your father is a rare commodity. A life well lived and still going strong. Always trust the Lord will provide.

CarMax has some Ford Transit vans in TX. They transfer for a fee. Basically no haggle pricing.
Anyone know any car dealership owners? Eric Hill? Matt Bowers? Or know anyone that can buy auction vehicles?
BC had said he was going to start looking for vehicles nationwide. I think he should stay within the region. TX, LA, MS -- a reasonable distance from Laffy.
Internet said to stay away from 2015-17 models.
Free bump back to page 1.

Hey big dog - where does your dad live?
I can't hire him full time but I could give him a bunch of punchlist work around New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
Small Sheetrock repairs, paint touchups and LVP floor install. I can't get him insurance and full time but I should be able to give him at least 20-30k a year work in air conditioned spaces with no heavy lifting and not on ladders

Why are you laughing?
I have spoken with him before and, although I haven't met him in person, I know people that do know him.
He has many dealerships all over.

You know, at first I chuckled too.
But...now you got me thinking. I know we have some LSU baseball Bawettes up in here with a special penchant for this sort of work.
Maybe some of you could take a little time out your weeks to stop by your local LA dealerships...sure to find a few LSU baseball fans in management at a couple of dealerships.
As sweet as pie, lay it out. A worthy old man needs something, and his son has done us all a great service. Don't even need to ask for the donation, just show them what's happening.
I'll bet you'll find at least one, who, if not out of the goodness of their heart, will see the chance for some cheap community goodwill and free advertising.
If all that's achieved is a $3.50 donation even...many hands make light work.
But..I'd bet someone might be the one who helps us find a way, and the tiger nation will remember.
Just a thought. Well, I've got to go to work, y'all keep up the good fight

Sending a few bucks and good vibes your way, Cajunomics.
You have provided me, my friends, and family plenty of laughs and entertainment over the years.
Whether this is a scam or not, it's great to see a community support something like this. Hope it works out well for you and your family.

I can 100% guarantee it's not a scam.
Unless it's been BCs super long game to run a channel the rest of us can catch games on, free of charge, until his elderly dad's
Van broke.

Also, Bob Giles does a segment on KLFY called "pay it forward"....maybe his organization could provide some assistance.

I see you Matt Moscona.
Thank you. Maybe you can use your platform to spread the word if you think it's a good cause.
In fact, I know more than a few of you reading this might have platforms that could reach people Hayward and BC have helped in some way.
Don't need to say you saw it here, don't even need to mention it. Just say tiger fan showed you the gofundme, and if you think it's a worthy effort...help put some more eyes on it.
