Odds are the contact bw the alleged victim and alleged suspect was not their first meeting.
Drug deal gone wrong would be my guess.

the whole stolen vehicle and dreads thing are the main inconsistencies
The article says it was his car. So it's not hers as the story goes. It may still be a stolen vehicle nonetheless, which may be why the e-text said that.
The abduction likely still occurred, and sexual assault is still an unknown, but it also isn't shot down by these new developments.
So, the only thing that is ruled out is that her car was stolen

Yeah that was very strange... the news having to find their own copy because the police didn't feel like giving any to the media.
I'm really confused now too.
This may sound terrible but is it possible she was meeting with him to buy drugs, stopped at gas station to get cash, had gotten nervous bc of the perp's behavior and this was her way of backing out of the situation?

Without revealing too much info about the victim, from what I've heard, she comes from a family that wouldn't play games if they had the slightest hint she was messing with that shite. Crazier things have happened, but I wouldn't assume she knew him, especially because of drugs.
Have you gone to college? If so you know as well as I do kids in college done give a frick. Kids that age feel like they can never die and do whatever they want.

It would be very misguided to make any assumptions about the girl involved... Yes anything is possible but the chances in this case are slim

I imagine a young girl going through that and I find myself getting a little emotional. Props to her for her courage in the face of evil and props to the cops for their work. My guess is there is her DNA \ prints are going to be in that car and this thing is over fast. Most of all, just thank God she's safe .

You think it's misguided to think that maybe a college student was going to buy drugs?

More details from Nakamoto:
WBRZ
Sounds sort of similar to the alleged story from the poster earlier
quote:
A source tells The Investigative Unit's Chris Nakamoto that a suspect drove to campus in the vehicle, parked near the victim's sorority house. He then approached the suspect, said he was armed and forced her into her car. He then drove away from the scene and forced her to perform a sex act. The victim was able to escape when she was brought to a store on Government Street.
quote:
The source says the suspect then drove back to recover his vehicle. It is unclear at this time if the victim's car was recovered.

Perp shows up to drop off drugs
Victim doesn't have cash
They both take her car to the ATM
She goes inside to use ATM
Perp steals car
Something like that

I said (meant)this particular girl..
Considering less than a 1/3 of college students use drugs in any given year, the odds are safe that even more arent buying drugs from a gardere hood rat in the Sorority parking lot.

A sorority girl isn't buying drugs from a gardere hoodrat
Posted on 3/17/17 at 1:28 pm to massiveattack
she could be hooked on H... she will not care where it was coming from
Posted on 3/17/17 at 1:28 pm to massiveattack
But it's easier to make up stories to justify this happening righf? Surely the girl was doing something suspicious, not a chance she could just be a victim here...

Read the article more carefully

Do you know this girl?

Also, Nakamoto's "source" could be the poster... Nakamoto's reporting is not stating "fact."

I still don't get the pictures of his car in the parking lot though...
He drove his car, abducted her in her car, then came back to get his car. Somewhere in there photos were taken of his car in the parking lot. Who and why?
The only logical explanation I have is if someone saw the abduction and took the photos. But if that's the case it seems like they would have called it in and police would have been there by the time he came back to get his car.

Dude, when I was in high school the president of the math club was slinging coke. You can't really assume anything about anyone just from outside appearances. I don't know this girl but there's a shite ton about this story that just doesn't add up.
