Long story short. Ours crapped out (the washer). Wife wasn't interested in having a non-matching set.

Sold it. Quickly. As in a couple of hours. This was after I ordered a Speed Queen W & D (thank you Napoleon). Getting word that W & D are now on back order. May not be here until the end of this month.

Wife is not happy about having to bring our clothes to our neighbor, her mother and my mother's house.

Only solution I can come up with is to rent a W & D from a Rent to Own type place. Never done this before. Do they offer week to week renting? Asking here, because they are now closed.

Any recommendations on which business to deal with in BTR / Ascension?

how fricking pussified is it that you kowtow to your wife over something as trivial as this, unless of course that is her domain and you never even know that you own such appliances?

I don't wash or dry clothes. That is her area of the house and her responsibility.

Why would I want to disrupt this?

So going to your moms or her moms house for 2 weeks makes her "not happy"? Glad she's your wife.

Probably would be cheaper to just bring it to a laundromat until you get a new set.

Make her wash the clothes in the pool and make her a clothes line running from the back porch to the outdoor kitchen column.

On a brighter note, she's highly educated, driven, a great mother and still sexy. So I'm glad she is mine too.

Then let her figure out a solution. Or is she incapable of solving problems?

You obviously don't know my wife. She would NEVER step foot into one of those places.

Yes, it is beneath her.

Her problems then become my problems. You should know how this works.
