Removing existing alarm system?

Current System
2 keypads
Siren
3 motion sensors
Multiple door and window contacts
Backup battery
Replacing it with SimpliSafe.
Where current keypads are, I'd like to replace with SimpliSafe keypads (to cover the holes). Same for motion sensors (to cover the holes) --- both keypad and motion sensors are hard wired. Should be fairly straightforward, right?
Door and window contacts can stay in place as I will be "installing" new door and windows contacts with the SimpliSafe system.
I can disconnect the external battery for current system and discard.
Any issues with the siren (for current system, located in attic) with disconnecting keypad, motion sensors and battery? I'm planning on leaving it in the attic and just using the new sirens with the SimpliSafe system.
Anything I am missing?

Yes, the Tech board. They'll be a lot more help.

That’s pretty much what I did with my ring alarm. Ring alarm contact sensors were a little large so I did have to drill holes for them, I took my old ones off and put the new ones in the same spot. Motion sensors were pretty much the same. I had to run a different power cord for the keypads as ring is usb and my old was 24V ac. Just have to make the holes work with what ya got.

Don’t forget the AC power for the old alarm. It’s usually a class 2 plug in transformer.
