Is it possible to retro fit a 2015 chevy suburban with remote folding mirrors?
A friend's wife (no pics) bought a used suburban online sight unseen, and is having trouble getting it into the garage.
Trying to help a brother out, he's handy and could change them it a kit exists.
Someone pointing to a source to purchase would be appreciated. TIA

If there was a 2015 Suburban with that option, which I'm sure there was, then you could buy the mirrors and have them installed. I don't know if the wiring would already be in place though and that's where it could get tricky.

Due to the garage door width? We can get ours in without folding them in. We do fold them in to give some wiggle room, but it's far from necessary. I'm not a garage door expert though so I have no clue of there is even a "standard size" for garage doors.

If it's an older house with a garage, the opening is going to be narrow.

Yes it is possible. Might tell him to head over the the Chevy forums and do a little research. It is possible but its a huge PITA and quite expensive. I looked into adding this option to my truck.
ITs easier to just buy a new vehicle with this already added.

Single doors are usually 7, 8, or 9 foot width. I forget what mine are but my wife's van is a tight squeeze so I'm guessing 7. It is a double garage but two single doors.
OP, can she just not roll the window down and fold the drivers side mirror in? Seems like a lot of work when she could just reach out and close one of them.

Thanks, but they were trying to avoid trading this one in and buying the next level trim.

A man would just do this, but it's his wife's car.

Some folks enjoy spinners from time to time.
