Him playing SNES did not give her the constant positive re-enforcement that she demands.
Her mental issues had become his and he finally had a buttful of her.
While he has not confirmed, I am re-affirming that sex with her was not very good either. It could be either crazy dervish, or crying.

I never thought he was bipolar. He was carrying all of her burdens from her abusive upbringing, trying to be Mr. Fixit.
He eventually got tired of the constant struggles. The struggles were probably growing too.

He came back and said it is done. He said she was crying, but amazingly calm.
While I have not really looked for more of his story, it does seem as if he is maintaining radio silence. He may be going through all of Zelda on Super NES now that he can.

The kid was a product of the imagination of an uninvolved poster. Many people read later comments about a kid who did not exist.
Since he does not exist, I am sure he will be fine.
