Lived in both cities, live in ATL now. If you're looking for getting outside and being active, then alpharetta is your spot.

Oh and I'd like to live near those offices so I can bike to work.

Central City is accessible from numerous neighborhoods. He can live in the Irish Channel, LGD, Broadmoor, Uptown, Mid-City, CBD, WHD, etc.

I'm hoping I can continue this arrangement in our new city

it's possible but considering the dumbass drivers in this city, I probably wouldn't recommend it

Didn't realize atlanta had no suburbs.
I wasn't trying to downgrade Atlanta, I thought it was way more spread out than NOLA. My goal was to let him know even though central city is terrible he can raise a family in a quality area just a few minutes away.

OP specifically said central city and alpharetta. I've personally never been to central city, but based on your own description this looks like alpharetta in a landslide.

Surely you mean the CBD and not Central City?

I think you may be right. Seems much more plausible as the location of a large well known corporation.

Oretha Castle Haley, its actually decent after going through a pretty extensive revitalization effort the past few years, only that stretch though, move a block off and it is pretty rough.

What is it with you tards always freaking out about the idea of someone raising a family in New Orleans? Can someone update the bubba training guide to teach people about New Orleans?

Op depending on your industry you might have more upside in Atlanta. NOLA is doing well right now and is a damn fun place to live for singles and families

Unless you work for YMCA, I don't think that address is correct.

It could be an old address though, I think part of OC Haley in the CBD may have been renamed at some point.

Good to know

I've lived in some "rougher" areas in my life so I think I know what things to avoid doing

How do you think this thread would go over on a GA message board? Why you continually come into every Atlanta thread to rant about the same shite is astonishing.

You don't want to put your family through that. If your office is on OC Haley, you could live in the CBD and bike over there. You'd have to pass the mission, and go under the overpass, which isn't the most safe thing if you're doing it late.

OC Haley is a mile stretch that used be Dryades Street. While up and coming, there are no "well-known multinationals" on that strip.
