That massive fight a few weeks back didn't help Reggies or TL's PR any.
I know that this horse has been beaten to death a thousands times. But, TL has got to get a renovation is some way or another. The college bar seen is miles behind places like Auburn,Athens and even Ttown.

Well, I guess then that they (the underage kids) will figure out City Bar doesn't stop underage drinking...well, the girls at least.
City bar is atleast smart enough to charge a massive cover for underage and have expensive arse drinks.
Once you spend the 20 dollar cover, you're not gonna wanna spend money on a 12 dollar vodka cranberry for the girl you brought in if you're a broke 18 year old. And you still need someone with a 21 plus wristband

Give Delgado a piece of the bar. They'll be open again tomorrow night.

Well they can still serve cokes and bottle water while playing trashy dance music. Most pill heads drink water anyway when they rollin.

Legal? How? Wasn't a law passed a few years back not allowing places who serve food when smoking was allowed?
No.
You can smoke in bars in BR regardless of food being served or not

its a fricking eye sore anytime you see it in the light of day, but I guess they have no real reason to pour any money into their bars since the customer base is built in

Busting a successful tax paying college bar and revoking their license fricking over all the employees and the managers and owners?
Government is on that shite.
Stopping the crime behind the bar from seeping into the surrounding neighborhoods? Racist. No government found.

No smoking in restaurants, smoking is still legal in bars, even if they make some money serving food. There are different licenses for the two.

Ttown is actually pretty awesome. Atleast during football season. They are set up perfectly for a college football game.
Biggest issue is the political climate in BR. There's a lot of ways you could create a fun and safe area for college kids and tailgaters to party, but anytime it gets suggested or someone tries to do it, it gets wrapped in red tape for years and we end up spending more money on studies and legal battles than they do opening a bar or creating something to alleviate the issues of the city such as public transport or traffic.

I agree that BR is miles behind those cities. However, given the general trend of TL and the massive amounts of cheap apartments surrounding those bars, I don't think the redevelopment of that area will occur anytime soon. My guess is that you'll see north of campus get closer to what you want before you see TL turn it around.

step one to cleaning up Tiger Land, go the Dirty Work route. Evac everyone from the apartment complex for a fumigation, burn it to the ground.

1.) they were blatantly disobeying the rules and laws that they agree to follow by obtaining that license.
2.)
I do agree that something should be done with the area surrounding these bars, but this sting doesn't have any correlation with that at all. These aren't homocide/major crime detectives doing this sting.
