I did hate spending $4 for a 3 day rental of a movie I planned on watching immediately and didn't need for 3 days.

Returning it the next day still racked up about $6 in late fees too. No matter how quick I got it back, there were always late fees the next time I went in.

I miss movie stores. Kind of despise Redbox, actually. At least at movie stores I could slow my roll to not have to stand in line right next to the poors renting horror movies for their kids to watch.
I would gladly pay $5 to rent a movie from a large selection of new movies.

Blockbuster with its name recognition couldve easily made its own boxes and squashed RedBox immediately.

The same name recognition and deals couldve allowed them to easily squash Netflixs DVD mail service as well.

They were too slow and stupid to adapt.

The thing that was good about blockbuster is that it got all of the movies. You basically have to search to find out where the movie is being released the earliest now because if not you will wait forever. Not that it's the end of the world but still kind of inconvenient that there isn't a one stop shop anymore.
