I went to my local dispensary's website this morning and placed an online order and swung by at lunch to pick it up.
(I could have chosen the delivery option, but I wanted to go in and check out the showroom).

Our sales started 01-01 and it’s booming. While I’ve always been partial to the bud, I’ve slowly transitioned into tinctures and edibles.

You should change your handle to Green Chili Kush.

on a related note, this year marks a decade since we legalized here. I remember thinking at the time that we were, at most, five years away from nationwide recreational. Guess that was a little optimistic.

There’s something about a dispensary’s menu board that’s just awesome to peruse

I went nuts with the online shopping cart today. I got various mixes of Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid in Flower, Gummies, Edibles, Vape Cartridges, Dabs, Tinctures, etc.

It's gonna take me a couple of weeks to sample everything.

I'm guessing the smell will still be enough for BRPD to search your vehicle to make sure "you have a card and aren't high while driving," so they can try to find other things.

What is LA (and other States like NM) doing about CC permits with that? I remember in Michigan that someone said it was like you could have the med card or the CCP but not both. I can't recall if he said that you couldn't buy guns once you got the card or not, but that sounds ridiculous.

Man if you want weed just go the medical route... It's not hard to get in the system.

It's like your first trip to Toys'R'Us as kid. (RIP Toys'R'Us)

To honor the occasion, I also splurged and picked up a laser bong:

Is Albuquerque worth a weekend trip to partake, eat, and drink?

It’s literally cheaper to buy a plane ticket to a legal state, load up and fly back than it is to buy Louisiana medical

Here in Kentucky, we tried to pass medical (and one of the strictest medical marijuana bills in the country) this week. Passed in the House.

The Senate Majority Leader (Damon Thayer - R) literally said even though his constituents want it to come to a vote he personally doesn't believe in it so he won't bring it to the Senate floor. Because he "feels like" it wouldn't the votes. And then said to his people, "If they don't like it they can vote me out.".

Last polled, something like 70% of Kentuckians want full legalization. But there's no mechanism in the state to bring it to a ballot referendum to let us vote on it. Has to happen in state congress.

In my opinion? Absolutely. I love it here. Tons of great New Mexican food, weather is awesome, Santa Fe is an hour up the road if you want to hit Old Town and check out some art or buy some Native American art or jewelry. The Very Large Array is a 2 hour drive south on I-25.

Straight ticket voters are to blame for this scam. Been saying this for years here.
