Moving back to New Orleans in the next couple of weeks and need to find somewhere to stay. Does anyone have any recommendations?

i think he mentioned the warehouse district in the thread title.

DJ, I didn't know you moved off. Why don't you just crash at Wizz's place and save a few bucks?

If you value your life I would recommend not moving to New Orleans

The Orcs are swarming the area you are considering. Is your heart set on there? Small apts there are running $1250.month for a tiny studio up to $1800 for a tiny 1 bed/1 bath. 1700 sq ft w 2 beds and baths is about $5k.

Invest in a helmet so that when somebody hits you in the back of the head with brass knuckles, it won't hurt as much. Also, keep your iPhone in your hand so it will be easier to steal from you. The average New Orleanian appreaciates your compliance.

Not set on there, but it would be my 1st choice.

What size place are you looking for?

What can you afford monthly?

Do you have a specific street that appeals to you? Is there anything in particular you want to be close to?

If it makes financial sense for you to buy, would you?

I am not a realtor and will just look around for you. While you are occasionally misguided you seem like a pretty good dude.

Can you get SS to weigh in? He has a pretty good pulse reading of a lot of things in N.O. and may know of something cool.

If you are single, have a legit job, move to NOLA and live in the WHD...Congrats, you are #winning.

Yea, thought it would be fun. So one of the main reason I wanted to stay in that area.

Just me, so it doesnt have to be too big.

Probably want to stay in the 1400 range. I was looking at the paramount, but wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation.

Dont want to rush into a house. Will do this when my lease gets close to ending.

My BIL stayed at 700 Commerce for a couple of months, I think it's called the Henderson. I thought it was ok for a 1 bed condo.

Pretty cool for $1250 a month.

ETA: I know you don't swim but look at some of the pool pics. Nice view to sit out and have a few drinks.
