I've used Harkins out of Denham Springs for about 6 years. I keep an annual maintenance contract with them. Very responsive, professional. Old man (sounds like he's been around) Adolph runs a tight ship.

I added a Secondary 2.5 Ton Goodman heat pump unit in April 2013. (My house originally had 1 five ton unit, had trouble keeping my house cool in the summer) The electrical, re working of the ducts, the adding of additional vents, etc. Ran me $4500

Get a few bids brother and go with heat pump since the south rarely gets cold enough for gas. ask about duct modifications because there will be some fitting the duct to the new unit.
