Every time I have lost someone close to me they appear to me in a vivid dream. My grandma appeared to me looking younger and healthy (she died when she was 95). It happens every time and they always say they are fine and will see me again someday. That shite is real.
I absolutely believe it is real...I read "Proof of Heaven" which was mentioned by a previous poster...it was great....
Also there is a book called "Messages" which was written by the widow of someone who died on 911 in one of the Twin Towers (he worked for Cantor Fitzgerald). It is a wonderful book that tells tale after tale from survivors of 911 victims about visitations from their deceased loved ones...the theme of the book is "Love never dies", and the love we felt for our deceased ones is still present.
I found this book very comforting when my parents died five years ago.

I'm just wondering about those who have passed, that I thought were close, but haven't appeared in any dreams before?
Example my moms little sister died when I was a Jr in high school she was only 37.
Other than her, there's only been 3 people in my direct family who has passed. My moms dad, my dads dad, and my moms grandmother.
I never knew about these type of dreams until a couple months ago, when my dad started showing up in my dreams.......

I've had that experience as well when my grandma passed away in 2005. I just remember crying my eyes out as she calmly told me she had to go.
