Dear Valued Members and Families: Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this evolving and challenging situation. Our goal is to remain a trusted resource while doing everything we can to protect public health. The YMCA is a community benefit nonprofit organization and your membership and program fees are the foundation of our work. This pandemic will no doubt have a financial impact on many in our community including the YMCA. We respectfully ask that you partner with us in supporting our Y family through the continuation of your membership and program fees during this interruption of service. We are working diligently to minimize the financial burden on all our employees by continuing to pay their wages during this two-week closure.

My gym will be billing during this as well. I don't really have an issue with it, just wish I could use it.

If you can get a spot back when they reopen, then frick them.
Otherwise, it's up to you how much it's worth.

It's simple, Baw. If you all continue to pay a pittance, those who did nothing wrong can continue to eat and pay their mortgage.
If the Wuhan has put you in a bind financially, don't pay it.
