DK didn’t get Jannetty’d. DK’s health failed due to the punishment his body took.

Speaking of Beefcake, DK claims he’d have viciously beaten and maimed Beefcake had he not suffered that horrific back injury a match or two before the planned attack.

Apparently Beefcake was an a-hole to one of DK’s buddies visiting from the UK, the only WWF guy to do so, which put him on DK’s bad side.

Jacques won’t say anything unless someone drags it out of him,

Honky Tonk Man, though, would probably say something as he’s gotten heat before over talking about what a sack of shite DK was in the late 80s.

Raven used to manage Jacques in the mid 90s as Johnny Polo and mentioned having to drag the DK story out of him because of Jacques’ personality.

Jacques, when interviewed, claimed that DK had attacked him earlier then rubbed it in by having a flight attendant call in a congratulation for him over his boxing career while the whole company was on a flight.

That resulted in a loss of face to where guys like Dino Bravo were looking down on him, so he and Raymond practices hits with the roll of quarters after matches each night for a while before the revenge was taken.

Oddly enough, that day was one where WWF management held a meeting telling people to cut out the bullshite like attacks, slashing up people’s clothing, etc. The Rougeaus’ missed that meeting and attached DK on the way back from lunch that day.

yea I heard Jacques and Raymond both talk about it, it was there dad that came up with the quarters and wait until right after he eats. I think according to Jacques it was Mr. Perfect that tore and cut his clothes and that he was playing both sides saying that Dk did it.

Not sure if Perfect blamed DK but it wouldn’t surprise me.

At the least he denied it was himself and, as he was new in the company, no one outside of the former AWA guys knew Perfect was a notorious shite stirrer.

Yeah, he was a total POS. Used to put out his cigarettes on Matilda's head, and threw lit cigarettes into Jake's snake bag. Also broke his niece's legs with a hammer to help collect insurance money. shite in Outback Jack's hat and then put it on his head, soccer kicked a black wrestler in Stampede, breaking his jaw...broke Bruce Hart's jaw over a slight, days before Owens wedding, broke a rookie Mick Foley's jaw with a clothesline for the hell of it. Became jealous of the attention that heel ref Sandy Scott was getting in Stampede, so he spiked his food and drinks with laxatives to the point that he couldnt travel. When Scott informed Stu, Dynamite suckerpunched in his false teeth and Sandy was so hurt he left and never came back.

He was legit tough, though -- when Jacques Rougeau cock-cocked him with the roll of coins and knocked his teeth out, Dynamite didn't go down.

Outback Jack... that’s a name I haven’t heard in a VERY long time.

Apparently he was scouted by one of Vince’s cronies and was set up for a very big run. The Bulldogs didn’t like that so they did all kinds of crap to him.

It was apparently legendary in the business to the point where Jim Cornette later cracked “There’s no telling where the frick he is after Davey and Dynamite got done with him.”

Yep, used to slip Halcyons in Outback Jack's drinks and frick with him. DK was the ringleader and Davey was his lackey.

That's the story. Mr. Perfect was the instigator.

Most people involved would abuse the dog to get a reaction later in the ring.

Mr Fuji, for example, would poke it with his cane to make it hate him and chase him in the ring.

Not even the worst Fuji dog story by far either.

Which is why a lot of people were scared to death of him.

You didn’t want to wake up to find that the engine was missing from your car.

And he did knock the shite out of HTM for making fun of Harley Race.

Honky claims it was Bobby Heenan talking shite about Race, which was jokes about Harley’s colostomy after an injury, and that another incident was over a misunderstood comment.

Honky and Jimmy Hart apparently had a bad night at the matches and said “Well, at least that paid the rent”, meaning “that sucked but it paid well.” DK thought it meant they were taking credit for paying everyone’s rent as Honky was headlining the B shows as IC champ.

ribber

A lot of these 80s era wrestlers used "ribbing" as an excuse for poor behavior. "Oh, it was just a rib." There's a big difference between a rib, and doing something just plain mean and hateful to hurt someone. Billington was a prime example of a guy who couldn't differentiate between the two.
