Whoa baw, we're getting into metaphysical Andy Kaufman territory here, where he asked why it was OK for Roy Rogers to play a cowboy, but it wasn't OK for him play to play a guy who wrestled women

didnt say he deserved to die. Just that it isnt a loss for the world. People should save their sympathy for people like the poster who lost their baby the other day, not these thugs living that gangster lifestyle. Live by the sword, die by it.

Why do we have to choose? Why cant we have sympathy that a human being lost their life, period.

Never claimed he's a perfect man. Far from it. But you already shared you dont even k know him or really know anything about him. So if you don't know anything about him how about you not act like you know his life.

This is absolutely a loss for Crenshaw. He opened his businesses to the community, started programs for ex-cons, rebuilt rundown basketball courts around him, etc. But keeping saying things about a dude you hadn’t heard about until this thread.

We have a rapper or aspiring one get murdered fairly often in BR. I just shrug and figure that they were living the lifestyle that they glorify in their music.

I don't wish death on any of them but their career choice certainly isn't one that typically leads to a long life expectancy. You lie with dogs, you get fleas

I'm not celebrating his death. Don't be so daft as to believe my criticisms of his negative influence on others is a sign that I'm celebrating his death. Don't be simple.

i know he has been involved in multiple shootings and violent crime. I mean, its all posted online. I dont know many everyday people who are involved in shootings on a regular basis. When you live that thug life... sometimes it gets you. Zero sympathy for someone basically asking for it

I mean I don't really give a shite about the lyrics in a song, nor did I act like he was some perfect guy that did no wrong.

He was making a difference in the South LA community in many ways and it sucks that his life was taken because there was so much more he could have done.

That's a bit like a company that produced carcinogens donating to a cancer research hospital.

If any of you want to actually hear how much Nipsy has impacted his community in a positive way watch this interview from this evening. If you don’t, carry on trashing a dude because you saw the word rapper in the title.

You know nothing about him either. You simply prefer to look past the overwhelmingly negative influence he's had on others. There is nothing wrong with trashing dishonorable behavior.

can we link the other shootings he has been involved in, and his other multiple arrest for drugs, and doing great things in community? A real role model lost

Very nice

I was going to retort his point, but you got it better than what I had.

While you look past the overwhelmingly positive influence he has had on others. I guess that makes us all equal here.

How many tens of thousands have repeatedly listened to his poison that glorifies killing others versus how many have been sorta helped? People, mind you, who are in need of help because they followed influences similar to what he put out in his recordings.

The story behind his death is interesting.

He was involved in a documentary to expose the pharma industry.

Yeah, conspiracy theorists are going to go nuts over this.

Doctor has a cure for aids, wins in supreme court, mysteriously dies shortly after..Nipsy filming a documentary to expose this, dies shortly after.
