1. Arkansas- too much meth and hillbillies
2. Mississippi- it's Mississippi
3. Alabama- inbreds
4. Missouri- see #1
5. Kentucky- pretty scenery but not much else
6. Georgia- the new Hollywood south
7. S. Carolina- mountain scenery and beaches
8. Florida- I just feel like it should be highly ranked.
9. Louisiana- good industry for jobs, great for sportsmen
10. Texas- same as #9 without crooked politicians
11. Tennessee- weren't for kids, I would move to Nashville area or Knoxville area.
Bitch please. There isn't 1 parish in LA that comes close to the quality of life that can be had in NW Arkansas.

Because when people the world over consider quality of life, they first consider which fishing spot is their favorite
"There aren't many jobs, our infrastructure is shite and gang violence is out of control... but I had a lot of fun fishing last weekend."

How many SEC Schools have a hockey team since this thread is based on SEC States?
Most have club teams.
But Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Missouri have professional teams.

Outside of the Tampa area pretty much the entire west coast is blue collar along with pretty much the whole interior of the state with the exception of Orlando. Even Lakeland is a small blue collar city. In fact, we even have 1.5 million more acres of farmland than Louisiana does.
While Florida may not have had a large amount of troops in the Civil War, you can't deny their contribution of cattle and other agricultural goods to keep the southern army's well feed. So yeah I guess I'd consider it a southern state.

Kenner vs Fayetteville
Posted on 3/8/17 at 10:07 am to LSU_Saints_Hornets
You're comparing a basically New Orleans suburb to a college town. Wtf
Posted on 3/8/17 at 10:07 am to TH03
Average home cost is 345k in Fayetteville. Nice.

I guess I'll be a homer like everyone else and post a very uneducated ranking based off of nothing.

3. Arkansas
4. Louisiana
5. Georgia
6. Tennessee
7. Missouri
8. South Carolina
9. Florida

The OP said there is not one parish that compares to NW Arkansas. Am I not playing the game right? I am comparing the best City in NW Arkansas to an Average city in Louisiana

Can someone compare bentonville to Baton Rouge now?
Posted on 3/8/17 at 10:11 am to LSU_Saints_Hornets
And he was retarded too.
NWA is beautiful, but boring as hell to live in. It's like 1920s America.

Most of them can't afford it with a average income of $50k

Atlanta for Memphis
Intown Atlanta isn't nearly as dangerous and ghetto as Memphis. Intown Atlanta is the gay and hipster mecca of the south now. Throw in all of the young professionals moving in and outpricing the ghetto and it's nothing like Memphis. There are parts of the suburbs that are far worse than anything intown. Not the northern suburbs, but places like south Dekalb and Clayton counties are far worse than just about anything that you'll find intown.
