The Landmass has a better job market, lower crime, and a lower cost of living than Louisiana. Also a quick drive to everything New Orleans and Mobile have to offer.

Alabama is the worst because it's lousy with gumps.

1. Arkansas- too much meth and hillbillies
2. Mississippi- it's Mississippi
3. Alabama- inbreds
4. Missouri- see #1
5. Kentucky- pretty scenery but not much else
6. Georgia- the new Hollywood south
7. S. Carolina- mountain scenery and beaches
8. Florida- I just feel like it should be highly ranked.
9. Louisiana- good industry for jobs, great for sportsmen
10. Texas- same as #9 without crooked politicians
11. Tennessee- weren't for kids, I would move to Nashville area or Knoxville area.

I would rather visit Florida, than live in it.

Alabama is an underrated state.

Same with Arkansas

I used to think living in Nola would be fun. Not so much nowadays. Louisiana deserves to be higher.

Mississippi is probably ranked correctly.

Nashville is overrated. Tennessee is just ok.

Nothing remarkable about Kentucky.

South Carolina for retirement maybe.

Georgia has a lot to offer.

I know nothing about Missouri

Texas, while overrated yet again, is a pretty good place for jobs/quality of life.

Explain why. There is far more to do and enjoy in LA than MS, AL, AR, and KY. I don't care about jobs, I'm locked in.

I've got family in TX and besides the business climate, it's unappealing. Hot and blah.
