if you're just looking for a day paddle/float with pull-offs. the Calcasieu is great. Put in at 190 and pull out at Indian Village. You'll need two vehicles.

Got an MIP there when I was 19

EtA: when i was 12 or so went with the family. My brother and a friend were all in the same canoe. There were some girls there our age and we were trying to get up the sack to talk to them. They came by and I decided to take the initiative. I did the "wazzuuuppp" from the Budweiser commercial. I have a feeling my brother is gonna bring that one up when he toasts my marriage

Haven’t been since 2006. That was by far the worst sunburn I’ve ever had. I had blisters and had to take an early vacation the following week. But god damn that was a good day

Partied out there many times in the 80s and 90s. It was trashy back then, I can only imagine how trashy it is now.
