I used to feed a few on my back patio. One was less skittish than the others, and after a while I could open a back window and put food on the windowsill, and he'd reach inside and snatch up the food with his adorable little coon hands. He'd eat anything we gave him - sunflower seeds, cheetos, cheese crackers, etc. Started taking stuff out of my hand too. Each night he'd just come up and stare in the windows til we fed him. Then my chickenshite neighbor trapped them all and "relocated" them (under ground, I'm sure). A few years ago I was offered a newborn coon and turned it down. Regret it every day since.
