I haven't seen video of the attack but are you sure it isn't....

I just watched the video on X. He waits until the wrestler has his back to him to attack and then viciously beats him in the head repeatedly. And it’s not the typical blows used in wrestling match you can tell are fake. He’s trying to kill this guy and may have succeeded. He’s both a coward and a subhuman animal that needs to be put down.

Using Dave Metzler as a source means this was probably fake. That guy sucks so much.

Unless that video is AI (it’s getting harder and harder to tell) it’s definitely not fake. He was trying to kill him.

It's short for referee. He's the guy in the striped shirt whose job is to enforce the rules. It's common in all sports.

Just a few days ago, Rampage posted a video of him getting on some kid's arse because the kid tapped him on the shoulder to introduce himself while they were out shopping. Rampage went on some big long rant about how you "never touch another grown man" and how the kid was "old enough to get his arse kicked." Stupid honor culture bullshite. The whole time his kid was standing there watching it all. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree apparently.

Edit: Rampage's son also live streamed himself sparring at a gym the other day and the guy he was sparring with threw a spinning head kick that landed too hard. The guy was wrong for doing it but I wouldn't be surprised if this whole tough guy wrestling assault was his way of proving that he's a "badass" on stream too

It took way too long for anyone to come in and make the save. Ref just stood there.

Ref isn’t a fighter, and is probably scared and in shock. Another wrestler comes to help, but it took a few moments for the rest to get to the ring. It took quite a few of them to control this a-hole

The reality is none of them expected this. It’s all a staged showpiece, so there would be a moment of pause to process along with shock before realizing what’s going on is real and needs to be stopped.

I know, I just dislike Metzler - that dude gets worked up over every little thing and most of his crap turns out wrong. I legitimately wish people would shun that dude, he is the definition of fake news.

Rampage sounds like a swell chap. He’s a shining example of how to live life with honor, integrity and respect, and it appears he has taught and raised his son to be the same upstanding model of humanity as he is.

This is California. He will get off with no bail and no sentencing. We already know how this goes, especially if the victim is white. By Monday Jackson will be the next hero with a go fund me account in the millions.

There was an incident before the match where rampage’s kid didn’t want to sell for the wrestler and Stu sold hitting him with a beer can. Rampage kid wanted to fight and that why he did this

It's attempted murder. Had the other wrestlers not came in there, the guy would probably be dead.

Yeah, which is common in wrestling. They adlib a lot, and Stu did so with the can. Raja is new and apparently didn’t understand this. Here’s video of Stu apologizing to him and trying to make it right. Raja the coward shakes his hand and accepts the apology. Then he plans for hours to try and kill him. Sick stuff.

Do they not have refs at these events? Somebody needed to stop this.

Refs? There are directors, producers and coaches.

If you get sucked in to watching this stuff, be aware that winners and losers are determined prior to the event and the stunts are ad libbed and ever so often some bozo goes off script.
