Sometimes the thing that you need to hear or read can come from the most unlikely places.
I posted a few years ago that my best friend's wife hung herself. Well here's a happy update. This past weekend (after a lot time punishing himself) he re-married and is happy.
When you were young in school you were given a lesson and then given a test. In life you are given a test that teaches you a lesson.

This right here I learned in 7th grade and it has gotten me through a LOT
The Litany Against Fear comes from Frank Herbert’s Dune.
I found a copy under my desk in freshman year and this I learned by heart. Changed my life and helps me daily

Life is a series of choices. Each of those choices dictates the experiences you will have. Emotional maturity is understanding how to enjoy and find the best in those experiences in the moments that they occur. It’s crucial to take ownership over the choices you make by building a life of abundance that includes options. This is the key to contentment in life.
