Anyone finding that the populous in the south coming unglued due to symptoms mimicking COVID actually being seasonal allergy related? Sitting in the home office now watching the pollen clouds wafting about and nearly everyone I’ve spoken to via phone has sinus issues etc ...

I'm not a healthcare worker, but we've had so much rain where I am lately that the pollen hasn't really become a problem yet. So. Much. Rain.

I had a scratchy throat and occasional cough all last week. Fine now. Either it was allegies or the world's mildest case of corona.

Unfortunately it’s been dry here in the NO area and fricking pollen is everywhere...

I think we are getting close to our average total for the year already.
I haven't had to hose the car off, yet.

Shades of light green on all the vehicles.
Can wash your car today, it will be covered again tomorrow

I have found out that people are complete drama queens and America is morbidly obese, lazy, and always looking for a handout.

Bottom line, this shite sucks and I’m tired of dealing with the unappreciative culcha.

Here's how I'll answer this.

I work at a GNO area hospital and as of yesterday, all confirmed or suspected covid cases officially outnumbered all other diagnoses combined.

All suspected covid cases admitted, were seemingly legit in their presenting symptoms and had pneumonia confirmed by imaging.

It's a very inconvenient time to have allergies, indeed.

I think this is important up note. There urban areas are going to be more hotbeds of this virus due to proximity.

The overall risk is low if you are young. Just be aware.
