Where will the statues be stored?
Can another city or parish claim them for relocation?
Could a future mayor of NOLA re-mount the statues after Mitch is finally gone?

Currently there is a bidding war between Baltimore, MD and Ferguson, MO.
What a breath of fresh air this topic is.

I think folks are going to pull them down with Toyota Tacomas, ride them through the streets and hit them with their sandals.

I'm taking up a collection to clandestinely remove them and bring them to my secret lab.
Once there I'll turn them into Confederobots with laser eyes.
Then unleash them to cull the wretched fold that dared disturb their slumber.

Not sure where the NOLA statues will go but I assume someone will buy them. When I visited Budapest this past year there was a place that had a bunch of old Soviet statues that were ripped down after the cold war. Pretty cool to see--most of the Soviet statues were vandalized pretty heavily though.

I am offended by this. They should stop it as well.

I'm honestly curious as to what will happen to them.

Lots of lawsuits, followed by hopefully, nothing.

Der Golem is a silent horror film written and directed by Paul Wegener and Henrik Galeen. It is inspired by ancient Jewish legend.
In modern times, an antiques dealer (Henrik Galeen) finds a golem (Paul Wegener), a clay statue brought to life by a rabbi four centuries earlier. The dealer resurrects the golem as a servant, but the golem falls in love with the dealer's wife. As she does not return his love, the golem commits a series of murders.

I wish someone local would buy them and put them up on their private property for everyone to see.
Also. How come no one is bitching about the rest of the names and statues? That's because no one yet told them to bitch about them. They. Yes they do not know the history about the rest. Only what is told to them.
