I take a probiotic and 3 fiber capsules every night, and one Immodium every morning. The urge hits between the first and second cup of coffee every morning, and I’m done until the next day. I have to be really stressed and/or badly abuse my system with food and alcohol to upset this pattern, otherwise, you can set your watch by it.

I’ve had severe IBS-D for years off and on. Started tracking food ingredients and discovered garlic was the main culprit. Whole grain breads causes issues as well. Removed those two items and haven’t had any issues for almost a year now. Seems garlic and onions give many people problems.

There’s a Reddit group for IBS. Lots of good info there.

Your healthy bacteria needs soluble fiber to properly to prosper/ferment.
