Have any of you seen an uptick in Carbon Footprint worries beginning this year? I have dedicated the past 3 days to talking to people/companies about gaining Carbon credits, minimizing Carbon Footprints or finding ways to get paid for minimizing your carbon emissions by environmental practices.
It seems like we are destined to cross this road, but nobody knows how to cross the road or how to cross it the best/easiest.

Pretty much every day I wake up worried about my carbon emissions footprint. Yeah I have kids, a job with deadlines and bills to pay but every day I'm just like "man how do I keep the earths temperature from changing"

I can't wait until we can keep earth from doing what's its done in all of known history....change.

Dude, just eat as much bacon as you want even if it’s over a pound in one sitting, and start smoking cigarettes a little. You only live once. There’s no “lowest carbon footprint” contest when you die. Nor is there a “prettiest arteries” one either. I just say that second one because I love bacon and do smoke a little.

It's a crock of shite. I'm all for clean air, water, and earth but 99% of what you hear is nonsense.

Methane reductions are easy enough. But transferring CO2 emissions to power plants (electrification) or capture and shoving in Co2 into holes seems silly. Buying credits from China to plant trees seems suspect as hell. But, thats the goal, easy money for some elites because they know you can't replace a 200 mmbtu/hr natural gas heaters/boilers or all 1500 HP+ egnines with electric elements/motors. Even if you did, it hits your scope 2. You have to buy credits to reduce Co2 or CCS. There is the possible CO2 air strippers, but those also require a lot of energy. I won't even bring up the insanity of Scope 3.

Seems like the greatest grift ever. This level of snake oil sales is like no other in history. Its mind blowingly insane. Watching the money thirsty assholes to get in line to take adavantage of it is almost hillarious.
