It's not so taboo anymore, most of the people that don't smoke it don't have a problem with it

I'm very socially open. If you read the thread you could possibly see my hesitation. I'm kind of an old fashioned type on the issue though since I haven't smoked for 10+ years after getting pissed tested every month in the military. Just getting oppinions.

And some of the people who don't smoke still have a huge problem with it. Especially if you are in a small town where people gossip. I regularly meet older people who think that people who smoke marijuana have a serious drug problem, and all people who smoke are stupid, lazy, and bums. It's still something you have to be careful about.

I'm the same age as you and was in the same situation because I worked in a refinery for a long time.. it's not that hard, just talk to people

Do you have friends where you're living? I'm sure someone knows someone who knows someone

No I didn't mean to just run around your local grocery store asking for some weed.. I meant ask someone who he knows and is friends with already.. it's not that complicated

Good luck you're in a bad situation. Is your dad the type of person you talk to about it? If so I'd consider telling him a Dr recommended it and you're looking into legal options. It'd be better if he already knew about it when/if someone approached him about it.

Nah not too many friends. Kind of realized when I was gone for so long that the friends I had here wernt really friends. I'm meeting and making new friends at college but had that hesitant feeling to ask. I have been dropping small hints to my younger brother because I'm almost positive that he knows someone he's 25 but again didn't really want my family to know. My wife knows and supports me on this so I am happy about that.
