Agreed. Coworker is going to his 1.5 year olds pre-school* graduation next Friday. Told him hes full of shite but I don't hold taking an opportunity to miss work against him.
*I'm assuming this is daycare, I can't imagine a 1 y/o being in any type of school.

Yea Walker high has seen its fair share of teams with no talent what so ever.
Our head coach got fired because he blew a 16 point lead over St Amant with less than 1:30 in the fourth quarter. We rushed for 365 yards that night but our coach decided for us to take a safety which cut the lead to 14. The St. Amant comes back and beats us in overtime. good times

I do not add parents to my facebook and stick it to private. Parents that do contact me via facebook, I ask that in the future contact me via my work e-mail.

This has been debated on OT 100x.
But at 2nd grade we would leave our/a cell phone with our little one if we were going to leave her alone at tennis, dance, tutoring, etc
By 3rd grade it was needed, cause if you leave an event like that your child needs a way to reach you.

when I was still teaching, I would not be FB friends with any students or parents. Just safer that way
