Actually cleaning with peroxide isn’t recommended anymore cause it can kill healthy tissue.

I just piss on it and make sure I don't wash my hands.

Not worried about rabies.
The dog was licking its arse moments before it but me.
My MIL was crying, literrally crying tears that I would suggest her dog had germs. The FIL actually said how dare you.

Well then they are idiots. I hope your wife is smarter than they are.

Well, I'm the wife and as usual when the in laws visit, my husband is conventially AWOL.
They are threatening to go to a hotel - I am offering to pay and to drive them.
Just for shits and giggles. I just said I need to report this to animal control and the beast will quarantined for 6 months. My finger looks like Mr Hanky - I'm going HAM in these frickers.

Human bites are worse than dog bites so stfu about the cleanliness of a dog mouth, yours is worse

Flush it out with some super saturated alt water. It won't feel good.
Give it a rinse with some peroxide.
Slather in Neosporin. You'll be fine in the morning.

More germs where your finger has been than where that dog’s teeth were. Unless a dog has rabies, a superficial bite isn’t going to kill you. If your mother in law bites you, get a tetanus shot.

So can I wait till morning for the Augementin??
Full disclosure. I just went through a treatment bc I diont have the antibodies to fight off a staph colony.
My finger looks bad - way swollen, hot and throbbing - the holes have closed up. I have been putting mupricen on it all day.

What kind of dogs were involved? We need to know breeds to determine the proper level of outrage.

I like how they assumed the dogs mouth is sterile. Like human mouths aren’t chocked full of bacteria.

Human bites are often more dangerous than animal bites because the human mouth has more bacteria in it than most animals' mouths. It is very easy for a human bite to become infected. However, any bite that breaks the skin can become infected and should be treated by your healthcare provider.
You asked for doc opinions, I could link all night long. Human mouth/bite worse than dog regardless of any a-hole

Well, my dog is a pit mix, the
MIL devil is a Boston terrier.
Boston terriers are usually the most chill lad back dog's, but because this dog has absorbed his master'z personality, it's crazy.
Oh and my human children, their grandchildren have never ever been allowed in their houses, but they bring their POS dog to mine. F this, I'm done.
