It’s pretty disgraceful. They must have never been to a Roll Call Ceremony or watched a flag get handed to a mother or spouse.

being a grunt after WW2 is a joke.
Those were the last true grunts. Now, anyone can go out and see combat and engage the enemy.

the only time yall came out the barracks was for formations. You pussies played video games all day in Oki.

I had to look this up. That's cool to have AAVs and LAVs in the same unit.

Yea those things are bad arse.

We always had our weekly battalion formations and special ceremonies in their bay/lot.

It was pretty sweet to see them in the ocean.

We had Officer style suite barracks with our own rooms, but we shared a bathroom. It was frickin sweet. The Recon guys stayed across the yard from our company barracks. Those guys are the real badasses

Gee...with that attitude I can't imagine why they don't respect you

Well, I know all of them and, most of the NFL players do respect me because I'm nice to their face and talk bad about them behind their backs.

Does that make me a bad person?

Yeah, grandfather wouldn't buy anything foreign, but especially hated the Japanese, he was a Japanese P.O.W. though.

He passed away in 86. Mom visited us when we were living in Hawaii and started tearing up when she saw a Japanese military vessel docked at Pearl Harbor during joint exercises.
