Question about the Dune books.

In God Emperor of Dune, The Tleilaxu repeatedly tried to kill Leto. Then in Heretics of Dune, they worshiped him.
How did they change?
Also, Duncan goes from some superfast dude that scares the Bene Gesserit to one that can be killed even by the slowest and fattest one in Chapterhouse.
How come Teg's ability to foresee danger didn't appear in the final battle in Chapterhouse?

I'm not going to do your homework for you.

I thought the third one was pretty good.
Frank wrote the sixth one but he was sick at the time. You can tell. Little action in the book. A lot of thinking by the main characters.

His reign stifled civilization by banning space travel, but after his death they came to understand his wisdom behind that action since it spurred on a new era, IIRC.

A lot of time has passed. Like a few thousand years. IIRC between those periods the Tleilaxu have invented the synthetic spice, and they are in a position of power. People are more easily able to see the prophetic Golden Path, rather than being in the midst of Leto the Tyrant.

I don't remember the specific situation you are talking about.

I believe there were no-ships involved in this, although the details are also fairly vague at this point.
I need to do a re read. I re read Dune and Dune Messiah recently. I might go back to the others sometime soon.

wish Frank had better explained the scattering. I've yet to read the post Frank novels. I refuse to do so.

I read them. They suck. Like they suck really, really, really bad. It is claimed that they are based off of manuscripts and notes found on a floppy for Dune 7, but I don't believe it at all. It just ties the original series into all the other crap that Brian added onto his father's work. The story telling is atrocious and full of plot holes. It's simply stupid. And even worse it fricks up the philosophical message and symbolism of the rest of the original series. One is left wondering if Brian even halfway understood some of the subtext of his father's work.

I think more explanation would have come if he were able to finish the series. As it is I think the simple idea is just that after being suppressed for so long people fled making the footprint of humanity in the universe grow exponentially to beyond measure making it so that humanity could no longer be put under the rule of a single tyrant ever again or be subject some sort of mass kill off event.
