Question About The Bodies Recovered From The Hard Rock Hotel

Since no one was able to identify them until they got them down and the coroner wasn't able to actually investigate and determine the cause of death until they get them down...what date would be the official cause of death and does it count as a COVID death if if fact they tested positive for COVID?
