Related to the Runnels closing thread. There are fears that the school may not be able to remain open through the end of the school year. If that were to happen, what would happen to the seniors at the school? I’ve searched but can’t seem to find an answer. I’m sure there are guidelines for such an occurrence. Anybody hear of a school in LA closing down during the school year?

Transfer?

I'd imagine they have already taken whatever classes they need to graduate. Should have taken the 'exit exam' as well.

I know of a couple of elite private schools K-8 in the New Orleans area that will not be able to financially sustain themselves if the school is forced to shut down and remote school. One of these schools is in close to the same financial shape as Runnels as it over extended itself.

They let seniors missed months during Katrina and they graduated on time. I don't know how society will function if all K-12 schools close. People have to work and can't leave kids home alone.
