I’ll be graduating from college in May, and applying to attend LSU OT in June for the semester of January 2021. My GPA is okay (3.5) and I met the GRE requirements. I’m going to work for the next few months to get as many shadowing opportunities as possible.

As a non-resident of Louisiana, are my chances of acceptance pretty slim?

My dad was in the hospital a while back and needed some OT. His therapist was cute, but she only had one arm. Pretty hard to complain about not being able to do something when the therapist can do it one handed.

I would assume it would be tough to get in with a 3.5 unless you have a really high GRE. That's just what I've heard from talking to others. I know you aren't getting into PT or AUD with that GPA.

I don't know. The threads have been really shitty lately so maybe some formalized classes wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I know someone that applied like twice before eventually going to an expensive private school in Austin that’s much pricier and easier to get in. Worth the loans to go if you’re committed.
