I'm guessing you don't know many lesbians
I've gotten to know quite a few, 20-35 yr range, and abuse is the common factor is almost all their cases. Of course they don't attribute their sexuality to that, in the same way many schizophrenics in the same age group cannot acknowledge drug abuse exacerbated their problem.
